At Holy Family Catholic Primary School, we view science as a subject that drives innovation and builds on knowledge to solve current and future problems. We embrace children’s wonders about the world and develop ideas and ways of working to help them become enquiry-based learners to prepare them for the world they live in today.
Science is also an incredibly exciting subject where children can explore, create, and innovate based on problems. We want our children to grow into the scientists of the future.
This week, all of the children in the school celebrated British Science Week! From Nursery to Year 6 children have researched a famous scientist and explored different experiments from observations to creating models of fossils. Have a look at some of our photos.
We invited parents in to showcase some of our work!
